On Saturday, Feb. 22, Interfaith Caring Ministries successfully held its 4th Annual 5K Fun Run and Walk: “Superheroes Strengthening our Community” in League City. Community members of all ages came together that sunny Saturday morning to help ICM fulfill its mission of “strengthening our community one family at a time.” More than 300 participants, volunteers and onlookers were in attendance.
“Each year this event grows so much,” ICM’s Communications and Special Events Coordinator Haley Lusson said. “It was fun to see people, both young and old, dress up as their favorite superhero. Seeing everyone enjoying themselves was great, but the best part was seeing all these superheroes come together to help ICM fulfill its mission.”
ICM is grateful for the sponsors, donors and underwriters of this event, including U.S. Development, Taylor Lake Christian Church, MRI Technologies, Texas Citizens Bank, BK Consultants, Houston Clear Lake Civitan Club, The Enos Law Firm, Gateway Chiropractic Bay Colony, Lisa Howard, Re/Max Space Center, Healthworks Spine and Sport, Toyota of Alvin, Premier Sports Chiropractic, Advocare, Camp Gladiator, Total Bodywork Chiropractic, Muscle Milk, Chick-Fil-A League City Towne Center, Kroger, and Perry’s Patchwork.
